Pets are my life, it sounds cliche but I had wanted to be a Vet from a very young age. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to fulfil that dream and now spend everyday following my passion. My husband and I dont have any children and our furry kids are so very important to us. I understand the unique and special bond my clients share with their pets.

I completed my Veterinary Medicine degree at Murdoch and have completed a Certificate in Herbs for horses, a course in flower essences and have undertaken training in acupuncture. During a prolonged break from my Veterinary studies in 2004 I started Cherished Creatures. I saw a niche for developing handmade chemical free pet care products, and massage service for dogs and horses. I felt there were few options available for people with older pets, those with long term illnesses and options for people that wanted to feel they have tried everything before making the difficult decison of euthenasia. Through this Cherished Creatures was born, I believe there should be choice and options for people in the treatments of their pets.

After completing my Veterinary studies I was able to support my service with professional medical knowledge and offer my clients more thorough treatments and care.

In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with and riding my horse Rosie, cuddling, brushing and enjoying the company of my other horses Lily, Bella and Marmarduke. Not to mention smooching my other fur kids; dogs Zen and Talulah, and cats Ruby, Azure, Celeste, Garnet, and Lapis. oh and not to forget spending time with My husband Brendan.

This is me with my 28 yr old mare Bella who still thinks she is 5yrs old. She has shared my life since she was 6 months old.
