FLOWER AND CRYSTAL ESSENCES

Flower essences have been used in western culture since the 1930s when Dr. Edward Bach discovered that flowers have individual energies. These energies can be used to remedy various negative emotional states. As with all living things flowers contain vibrational energy; this energy can be transferred to water.

There are many other types of plant essences available to us today, such as Australian Bushflower essences and other geographically grouped essences. These all work on the same principle, only using different species of flower.

What are Crystal Essences?

There are hundreds of different crystals from all corners of the globe, which all in their unique way have healing properties. Crystals have connections to specific body parts and can be used either directly on that area or internally as an elixir.

There are many different techniques of crystal healing. Using essences is but one.

How do they work?

Crystal and flower elixirs assist healing on all levels, from spiritual to physical, mental and emotional. They have the ability to realign the body’s energy fields and restore balance.  Bringing the body back to balance can aid many physical or mental states.
When our emotions become out of kilter and we become angry, sad or frustrated, our energy too becomes erratic.

Flower essences work by refreshing the body of negative thoughts and feelings that underlay physical conditions. These emotional states have often developed over time through experiences with external influences.

Using flower or crystal essences in conjunction with natural diet, herbs or conventional medications can assist in bringing back balance and supporting the body’s own defenses against disease.

Examples of how essences can help animals:

Flower and crystal essences target deeper emotional issues, which are often reflected in physical and behavioral problems.

An example of this is a dog that digs holes in the backyard, while the owner is at work. The dog may be experiencing feelings of loneliness, frustration and separation anxiety because the owner is away. Flower and crystal essences can be used to gently rebalance this wayward energy.

Our animals are very receptive and influenced by our feelings and our emotions; even if we think we aren’t showing them they can be reflected in our animals’ behavior.

An example of this is a horse that becomes difficult to load on the float. The rider may be nervous about the impending show; and the horse picks up on these nerves. The horse can’t interpret them as nerves about the event, but instead thinks the owner has concerns about the float. From this the rider’s anxiety grows, because the horse won’t load on the float. In turn the horse becomes more reluctant to load on the float.

In this instance flower essences can be used to calm the rider and the horse.

Are essences safe? Can they be used with other medications?

Flower Essences are safe, non-toxic, and can be combined with veterinary prescribed medicines.  They cannot be overdosed or ill prescribed, because if the wrong combination is chosen it will just have no effect.

Essences do contain a little brandy as a preservative but this can be replaced with apple cider vinegar. However the small amounts of brandy shouldn’t be of notable consequence.

How do I choose the right remedy for my pet?

We produce blends to address common problems, but, through a consultation, can also tailor a specific combination to target your animals’ individual emotional problems. A consultation is as easy as answering some simple questions.

Will flower & crystal essences fix my pets injuries or physical illnesses?

Flower and crystal essences will not cure animals’ physical problems but can be used in conjunction with other remedies in a treatment plan to synergize energies and stimulate

self-healing. By targeting underlying emotional causes, symptoms can be eased.
